Era 4 Ultimate Package

In the Era 4 package the amount of time that will be spent on the research of the family tree will equate to an average of 80 working hours, the research that is ongoing can be further extended as in some cases it can go over the allocated time slot. If this does happen there needs to be agreement from the customer as to how much extra time should be spent on this.

With any research into someone’s family history we have to take the basic concepts of genealogy, which is probably the most important component of gathering the information that is going from what we already know to be fact and true to that of what is not known. The most commonly researched line in any family to follow is that of the paternal line (This means following the line of the father) and this is what we would suggest for the most packages,  However in as this package is more advanced we can then start to look at other areas of the family that would be of interest, sometimes people would have as an addition to their existing research the option to follow their maternal line (this is the line of the mother) this becomes more difficult as their names change whenever they get married. As the research of the top two packages suggest they will take a holistic approach to your family tree trying to gain an insight into the lives and inner workings of all your ancestors.

Explaining the methodologies

There are several types of methodologies used to in researching the Genealogy in the family. The research taken will be a methodical investigation into the requested line of family descent, it will also bring about a voyage of discovery through the presentation of the facts about the families lineage. Whether it is English, Welsh or Scottish family history the investigative enquiries should, on average, take your ancestry back from 1750 and beyond; however this is dependent on various factors such as the rarity of your surnames and the availability of records not only from the General Register Offices’ but the local archives offices within the search area. The research itself will take the paternal line as the main route of the research, any for further research will be discussed with you before the final report is produced.

What you get in the end

At the end of the research you will presented with options as to which way you would like to have your report personalised and delivered. The report presentation is professionally bound in various forms.

All research that has been gathered for your unique family tree will be stored on a USB drive, the drive will contain your family tree Gedcom file which can be imported into any well-known research software package, it will also include scans of source documentation, report in PDF format.
